What really happens in UK General elections?

Example results from 2010 across the UK showed:

●  the diversity of results in different areas,

●  the power of non-voters to change almost every result,

●  their power to deliver the biggest protest in UK history.

Anything is possible if we all either Vote, or Vote NONE.

Registered voters who didn't vote are shown in white.

(As ukip won no seats in 2010, we show their two 2014 by-election wins, with Clacton 2010 for comparison.)

(These 18 results are from across Great Britain.  They do not include Northern Ireland because the parties are different: there, 42% didn't vote in 2010.)

Calculation example:

In 2010, the Conservatives nationally received 36.1% of the votes on a 65.1% turnout.  That is equal to 23.5% of registered voters.  (0.361 x 0.651 = 0.235).
